How long is the certification valid?
SSI lifeguard certifications are valid for 2 years. You must complete a refresher course to recertify.
Can I get a job immediately after certification?

What are the swimming requirements?
You must demonstrate: 200m continuous swim, 25m swim with object retrieval from 2m depth, and 2 minutes treading water.
